Ashish Thekkekara

A seasoned investment banking professional with over a decade of experience across origination, credit & risk management, strategy, digital transformation, and advisory functions. As the mastermind behind Northern Arc Capital's growth and expansion into new sectors such as Agri-finance, fintech, and corporate finance, he also spearheaded the development of their cutting-edge tech platform, Nimbus.

Not satisfied with revolutionizing the industry from within, he also conceptualized and launched Northern Arc's first foray into the B2C segment, the alternative investment wealth management platform, Altifi ("altifi.ai"). It's no wonder that his innovative work in digital transformation at Northern Arc earned him Techcircle's Business Transformation Award 2021 for Process Innovation in the Excellence in Digital Execution category. Ashish's passion for disruptive change began early on in his career, where he honed his skills as part of the portfolio management team at Villgro, incubating early-stage social businesses.

He's the co-founder of Capital Stack, and a force to be reckoned with in the investment banking world. As the Senior Director & Head of Capital Markets at Northern Arc Capital, he doubled the practice's scale from $800 million a year to a staggering $1.7 billion a year. With 14 years of experience in risk management, treasury, capital markets, and investor relations, he has raised over $8 billion for 160+ institutions, $1 billion for treasury, and $50 million for the fund management business of Northern Arc.

His expertise extends beyond Indian borders as he has advised global investors on their buy-side strategy and helped them build a profitable and diversified debt portfolio, deploying close to USD 3 billion in the Indian market. Varoon is a trailblazer in raising billions for small and mid-sized institutions that cater to retail finance and social development sectors through complex structured finance transactions, many of which were first-time transactions in the Indian market.

Prasanna Kumar VLV

With over a decade of experience in finance and technology, he is a mastermind behind some of the most innovative and first-of-its-kind capital market solutions in India. As part of his journey at Northern Arc, he pioneered the setup of the country's largest structured finance desk and introduced new product processes and operating procedures that facilitated scalability.
